UDrivo – Terms and Conditions for Car Drivers

Electronic Record & Agreement

These UDrivo Terms and Conditions (“Driver Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and UDrivo Technologies Private Limited. These Driver Terms govern your use of all our sites, services, web application, documents, materials, and intellectual property (collectively referred to as the “Offerings”).

This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules. It is generated electronically and does not require physical or digital signatures.

By accessing or using the Offerings, or by proceeding after login/signup on the UDrivo Website or Web Application, you confirm that:

You have read,
Understood, and
Agreed to be legally bound by these Driver Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not access or use the Offerings or proceed after login/signup on the UDrivo Website or Web Application

For the purposes of these Terms:

“We”, “Us”, “Our” mean UDrivo Technologies Private Limited.
“You”, “Your” mean a registered car driver using the Offerings (“Driver”).

1. Disclaimer

UDrivo is a technology platform that connects car drivers with car owners.
UDrivo does not verify the condition of vehicles or the identity or reliability of car owners.

By using the platform, you agree that:

You operate at your own risk,
UDrivo is not liable for accidents, disputes, injuries, damages, loss, or misuse occurring during your service.

2. Platform Role

UDrivo:

Does not employ car drivers.
Does not own or control any vehicle.
Functions only as a mediator between drivers and car owners.

You are solely responsible for your conduct and the driving service you provide.

3. Driver Responsibilities & Compliance

You must:

Hold a valid driving licence, Aadhar card, PAN card (optional)
Follow all traffic laws,
Maintain professional behaviour,
Ensure all personal documents are accurate and updated.

UDrivo is not responsible for any penalties, fines, or legal issues arising from your actions.

4. Liability

UDrivo is not responsible for:

Vehicle damage
Accidents or injuries
Loss of life
Lost personal belongings
Arguments with car owners
Trip cancellations

You agree to indemnify UDrivo from any claims, damages, or disputes arising from your service.

5. Disputes with Car Owners

Any issue related to:

Payment
Behaviour
Trip changes
Damages
Cancellations

must be resolved directly by you with the car owner.
UDrivo will not intervene or mediate.

6. Subscription Terms (₹590 Plan – Old Subscribers Only)

Drivers who subscribed to the ₹590 monthly plan (inclusive of 18% GST) before 12 November are eligible for:

Free Extension Policy

Your subscription will be extended at no extra cost until you earn ₹5,000 from trips assigned through UDrivo, starting from your subscription date.

Important Conditions

UDrivo stopped selling the ₹590 subscription after 12 November.
Only previously subscribed drivers remain eligible.
The subscription fee is non-refundable.
Rides are assigned only when customer requests are received; ride availability is not guaranteed.

7. Joining Fee (Effective from July 04, 2026)

To activate your UDrivo Driver account, a joining fee of ₹500 (excluding GST) is applicable.

Joining Fee: ₹500
GST (18%): ₹90
Total Amount Payable: ₹590 (Inclusive of GST)

Important Terms

The joining fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to voluntary account closure, account suspension, deactivation, termination, or prolonged inactivity.
Payment of the joining fee is solely for registration and activation of the UDrivo Driver account. It does not guarantee:
- Any minimum number of trip requests;
- Minimum earnings or income;
- Continuous, regular, or uninterrupted trip assignments; or
- Employment or engagement with UDrivo.
UDrivo will make reasonable efforts to assign trip requests based on operational availability. Trip allocation depends on multiple factors, including but not limited to:
- Customer demand;
- Driver’s live location;
- Driver availability and online status;
- Customer preferences;
- Serviceable locations;
- Driver ratings and performance;
- Operational requirements; and
- Other business and technical considerations determined by UDrivo.
UDrivo does not guarantee that every registered driver will receive trip requests or achieve any minimum number of trips after payment of the joining fee.
The joining fee is subject to revision, modification, or withdrawal at any time at UDrivo’s sole discretion without prior notice. The latest applicable fee and related terms will always be published on this Terms & Conditions page. Drivers are responsible for reviewing this page periodically for updates.
By paying the joining fee and completing the registration process, the driver confirms that they have:
- Read and understood these Terms & Conditions;
- Accepted the joining fee policy;
- Agreed that the joining fee is non-refundable; and
- Consented to be bound by all applicable UDrivo policies, rules, and future updates.

8. New Payment Model (Applicable to All Drivers After 12 November)

Driver Collects Payment Directly

After each trip:

You must collect the full fare directly from the car owner
(cash or online payment based on mutual convenience).

Trip Fare Includes:

Base fare for driving time
One-way return fee (if applicable)
Night charges (if applicable)
10% platform fee on:
(base fare + return fee + night charge)
18% GST on the platform fee

Payment to UDrivo

Before receiving the next trip:

You must clear the 10% platform fee + 18% GST on the platform fee.

Trips will not be assigned until dues are paid.

9. Suspension or Termination of Driver Account

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these Driver Terms
Misbehave with car owners or UDrivo staff
Engage in fraud, manipulation, or misuse of the platform
Submit false documents
Fail to pay service/platform fees
Sharing Contact Information

Drivers must not ask customers for their personal mobile numbers or share their own personal mobile numbers with customers. All communication should be conducted through UDrivo’s call-masking phone number system provided within the platform.

Any attempt to exchange personal contact details, bypass the UDrivo platform, or solicit direct bookings may result in the immediate suspension of the driver’s account.

To review and potentially reinstate a suspended account, UDrivo may conduct an investigation and, at its sole discretion, require payment of a cancellation, compensation, or administrative fee. Depending on the severity or recurrence of the violation, UDrivo reserves the right to permanently suspend or deactivate or terminate the driver’s account without prior notice.

10. No Warranty

UDrivo does not guarantee:

Ride availability
Rider behaviour
Earnings
System uptime

You use the platform at your sole discretion.

11. Intellectual Property

All materials, branding, platform features, images, text, documents, and content are the exclusive property of UDrivo.

You are not permitted to copy, reproduce, share, or misuse any intellectual property.

12. Unauthorized Use

Any misuse of:

Driver account
Platform features
Customer data
UDrivo name or branding

may lead to account termination and legal action.

13. Third-Party Links

The platform may include links to third-party websites.
Their terms and policies apply separately, and UDrivo is not responsible for third-party content or services.

14. Refund Policy

Refunds are provided only when UDrivo fails to deliver a committed service.
Refund claims must be made within the applicable timeframe.
Claims made after the deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

15. Force Majeure

UDrivo is not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our control, including:

Natural disasters
Network outages
Power failures
Government restrictions
Pandemics
Technical failures

16. Governing Law

These Driver Terms are governed by the laws of India.

17. Jurisdiction

All disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

18. Technical Errors and Malfunctions

The website or web application may experience technical errors or malfunctions, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

19.Accuracy of Information

Information provided on this website or web application may contain mistakes, errors, or inaccuracies and is not guaranteed to be 100% correct.
