UDrivo – Terms and Conditions for Car Owners

Electronic Record & Agreement

These UDrivo terms and conditions (“Terms”) operate as a binding agreement between you and UDrivo Technologies Private Limited and govern your use of our website, web application, services, documents, materials, and all related intellectual property (collectively referred to as “Offerings”).
This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable rules. It is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

By accessing or using the Offerings, or by proceeding after login/signup on the UDrivo Website or Web Application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use or access the Offerings or proceed after login/signup on the UDrivo Website or Web Application.

For the purposes of these Terms, “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to UDrivo, and “you” and “your” refer to a Car Owner using UDrivo’s Offerings.

1. Disclaimer

By using UDrivo, you acknowledge and agree that UDrivo only facilitates connections between car owners and car drivers.

  • UDrivo does not verify the skill, behavior, driving ability, or license validity of the drivers.

  • You use the platform entirely at your own risk.

  • UDrivo is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, misconduct, or disputes that may arise during or after your interaction with a driver.

2. Role of UDrivo

UDrivo acts strictly as a mediator enabling car owners to connect with available car drivers.

  • We do not employ the drivers.

  • We do not monitor, control, or supervise their actions.
    By using the platform, you acknowledge that UDrivo’s role is limited to providing access to independent drivers.

3. Liability

UDrivo is not responsible or liable for:

  • Any damage to your vehicle

  • Theft, loss of items, or property damage

  • Physical injury, medical emergencies, or loss of life

  • Driver negligence, reckless driving, misconduct, or disputes

  • Any financial loss or claims arising from your interaction with the driver

You are fully responsible for ensuring that the driver you hire meets your expectations and operates your vehicle safely and legally.

4. Disputes with Drivers

If any issue arises—regarding payment, vehicle handling, behavior, timings, or any other matter—you agree to resolve it directly with the driver.
UDrivo will not intervene, mediate, or take responsibility for disputes between a car owner and a driver.

5. Insurance and Vehicle Condition

You must ensure that:

  • Your vehicle is properly insured as per Indian law

  • Your vehicle is in legally compliant, safe, and operational condition

UDrivo will not be responsible for legal, financial, or operational issues arising from non-compliance.

6. Termination of Account

UDrivo reserves full rights to suspend or terminate your account at its discretion if:

  • You violate these Terms

  • You misuse the platform

  • You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or inappropriate behavior

7. Use of Offerings

By accessing the Offerings, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete information during registration and usage

  • Be responsible for all actions performed under your account

  • Use the platform only for lawful and legitimate purposes

  • Not attempt to disrupt, hack, misuse, or manipulate any part of the Offerings

We do not guarantee accuracy, speed, reliability, or completeness of any information or service provided through UDrivo.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, code, text, images, and materials on the UDrivo platform are the exclusive property of UDrivo.
You have no right to copy, distribute, modify, or claim ownership over any part of the Offerings.

9. Third-Party Links

UDrivo may include links to third-party websites.
Your access or use of such links will be governed by the respective third-party policies, and UDrivo assumes no responsibility for them.

10. Payments and Refunds

Payments made for services are governed by the service-specific policies.
You may request a refund only if UDrivo fails to provide the booked service within the stated timeline.
Refund requests outside the permitted timeframe will not be eligible.

11. Force Majeure

UDrivo will not be held responsible for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, system failures, or other force majeure events.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
